PEOPLE

Amid the harsh terrain of the Chilean mountains, a new observatory houses the world's largest camera, capturing a color movie of the sky. Anticipated amount of data—around 60 petabytes — will transform our understanding of the universe.

But how is this possible, and who is making it happen?

Our film presents a tapestry of knowledge, weaving together the wonders of space with the tireless efforts of skilled astronomers, students, software engineers, and citizen scientists, all striving to unravel the enigmas of the cosmos.
